My upcoming 938FM Live Interviews
How do you feel about the current market conditions?
Even with the current geopolitical factor of North Korea issue, our market has been lackluster since the mid of August.
It has been sideways for a while now, and we are looking at the range of around 3,200 to 3,300. It has been hovering around this range. For traders or investors, they should be preparing cash in hand.
How do you think investors and traders should take their approach towards the stock market?
For investors or traders, what they should be doing is to be patient. As there is no distinct direction in the market at the moment in time, it is a good time for them to build up their war chest and accumulate cash. The key is to wait for opportunities and take action.
In this market uncertainty, what are the stocks or sectors to look out for?
There is always silver lining. A sector to look at is the telecommunications sector, in particularly Singtel. It is currently near support and investors can consider accumulating at a longer time horizon.
S&p500 broke through 2,453 region again and is consolidating around the support. We will probably see a period of consolidation and wait for the EMA to catch up.
If it breaks support at 2,453, it will move sideways in the 2,400 - 2,450 range.
